On the leeward side of the sand dunes at Borestranden beach, these yellow trefoils were growing. These are captured using a Lensbaby Original with a 4x macro adapter.

Kelp

Finally got myself outdoor today for a trip to Borestranden, a beach some kilometers south of Stavanger. The weather wasn't the most exciting so big scale landscape imagery was out of the question. This piece of kelp was drifted onshore and was my subject of the beach trip, together with some flowers i'll post tomorrow. And tomorrow is the big day (hopefully), as my new Sigma 10-20 arrives.... Broken Chain sunset

The "Broken Chain" is a memorial of the largest accident in the Norwegian oil industrys history. The oil platform "Alexander L. Kielland" lost a leg during a storm on the Ekofisk field in the southern North Sea, casusing the platform to turn upside down in a few minutes. 123 persons lost their lives.
